Le programme des marches culturelles et sportives des musées parisiens

A programme bringing together several City of Paris museums around walks that combine discovering the venues with sporting and cultural activity, across the capital.

This programme brings together several City of Paris museums around a single principle: linking a visit to the venues with walking, in a dimension that is both cultural and sporting. Its title distinguishes two strands, walks of a cultural nature and walks of a sporting nature, which take place in the participating museums and their surroundings.

It is an offer of exhibitions in the broad sense, presented as a set of routes rather than a single presentation of artworks. Visitors find a way to discover municipal museums on the move, as a complement to a classic visit, and to take up walking while exploring Parisian institutions.

The programme is aimed at people who wish to combine physical activity with cultural discovery in the capital, without necessarily knowing each museum concerned in advance. The routes lend themselves to a gradual discovery of the city and its institutions.
