What if History were, above all, a history of words? For more than two centuries, women and men have stood up, taken the floor and tried to tip their era over the edge. A speech can convince, unsettle, unite, provoke outrage. It can change the course of a story, give birth to hope, champion a cause or simply give a voice to those who have none.

This show brings together great speeches delivered throughout History. Through these texts, the eras answer one another, the voices confront each other, and the struggles echo across time. The centuries pass and the contexts change, but one thing remains: the extraordinary power of speech when it is delivered before an audience.

A journey in which the great orators are no longer merely historical figures. They are here. On stage. And they speak to us.
