Overview

Synopsis: Nestled at an altitude of 1,600 metres in the tiny hamlet of La Gurraz (35 inhabitants), in Haute Tarentaise, lies France's smallest school: eight pupils, from nursery to CM2, a single place of learning and life.

The film follows the lives of these children, their sole teacher, and their families throughout the seasons and the school year, as they face the same question every year: will the school close due to an insufficient number of pupils?

Directed by: Pascal Plisson Documentary For families aged 10 and over
