Macera - Compagnie Pyramid

MACERA Cie Pyramid Macéra takes audiences on a journey through an odyssey offering an experience that is both physical and spiritual. Choreographers Fouad Kouchy and Youssef Bel Baraka drew inspiration from great travel narratives and from the journeys of the writer Pierre Loti, blending them with their own life stories. Through this show, they hope to stir in spectators a rush of emotions, discoveries and questions, leaving room for the journey of the imagination. Macéra thus offers a reinterpretation of hip-hop, connecting it to spiritual, material and existential dimensions. This piece is a metaphor for life, in which every choreographic moment is a step towards discovering new horizons. Macéra explores the duality between spirituality and materialism, desire and pleasure, while questioning the place of the human being in the world. In the show, dance, steeped in ethnic, traditional, contemporary and hip-hop influences, becomes a powerful means of communication, expressing profound emotions.
