Overview
At 10, Matthieu fell from a ladder and became disabled. 25 years later, he takes to the stage. It took a while, but that was because there was no access ramp. En bas de l’échelle is Matthieu Nina's first solo show, written with the complicity of Pierre-Emmanuel Barré and Arsen.
The tone is unapologetic: black humour, self-deprecation, and a determination to go where "one wouldn't dare". Matthieu Nina, finalist of the 19? season of La France a un incroyable talent, tells his story without filter.
He talks about the hardships, the perseverance needed to get on stage, and turns his difficult experiences into a playground for comedy. Every evening, he tackles what frightens, what hurts, and succeeds in making people laugh in the very space of pain. Ages 14 and up.
