Minitel est composé de Christophe Dubois alias Krisofwood (musicien de Calogero, Florent Pagny, Julien Clerc, Jane Birkin), admirateur de Téléphone depuis son adolescence.
Il décide de monter ce tribute en s’entourant de Thierry Montagner, avec qui il avait assuré la première partie de Téléphone lors de la tournée “Un autre monde” en 1984 à Lyon et Dijon.
Le groupe est également composé de Céline Guy (Women of Rock, The Irons tribute Iron Maiden), qui a inspiré la création du projet, ainsi que de Julien Arrich, batteur rock remarqué notamment avec Soul Mojo Mood.
Minitel revisite les chansons de Téléphone et replonge le public dans l’univers du plus grand groupe de rock français.
