Overview
Pop Crimes at Le Ferrailleur
THE BOO RADLEYS (britpop · UK)
Influential pioneers of shoegaze who went on to chart success during the Britpop era, before enjoying a triumphant reunion period, The Boo Radleys have followed an unconventional path in which relentless sonic experimentation has always been a trademark.
Today, the trio - the original members Simon "Sice" Rowbottom (vocals, guitar, keyboards), Tim Brown (bass, guitar, keyboards, vocals) and Rob Cieka (drums, vocals) - proves that their inspiration, nurtured over several decades, is stronger than ever as they announce the release of their new album In Spite of Everything on 1 May.
As they have always demonstrated, The Boo Radleys possess an inimitable talent for finding seductive melodies within offbeat sounds. In short, it is The Boo Radleys' sound, drawing on touches from their essential catalogue as a foundation for an inspired adventure into new territories.
