Music-Halll Colette - Tournée

Freely inspired by the life of Colette. From the light pantomimes of the Moulin Rouge to the Académie Goncourt.

Freely inspired by the life of Colette. From the light pantomimes of the Moulin Rouge to the Académie Goncourt. From journalism to the founding of a beauty salon. From her scandalous affairs to her state funeral, Colette was a complex and remarkably modern figure.

To draw a mirrored journey between women's lives past and present, Cléo Sénia, alone on stage, acts, sings, dances and masters the art of the striptease to question and free herself through the figure of Colette.

This mirrored narrative opens up reflection on today's codes around feminism, nudity and freedom after more than a century of struggle. Have they evolved, or simply persisted?

Léna Bréban directs this musical and theatrical show, both unusual and finely crafted, within a mobile set with multiple facets that delightfully evokes both eras. This playful and sensual performance is a joyful ode to freedom and the splendour of words.
