Hiro - Paradoxe

Presented by Le Double Fond. Magic is a paradox. It amuses as much as it irritates. It fascinates as much as it unsettles. We know it isn't really real… and yet we want to believe in it.

For more than twenty years, Hiro practised one of the most demanding forms of magic: event magic. A fast, visual, direct kind of magic, where one meets hundreds of people in a single evening, in different venues, before different audiences, in different moods.

And yet, each time, the challenge remains the same: to create, within a few seconds, a moment strong enough for people to remember… Perhaps this is where the true paradox begins. Pretending in order to provoke a genuine emotion. Using illusion to create connection.

Repeating the same gestures… to offer each person a unique moment. PARADOXE is a show that blends magic, mentalism, memory and emotion. A modern, elegant and profoundly human journey, in which magic becomes a mirror of our contradictions.

And at heart, the greatest paradox may be this: nothing destined Hiro to become a magician. And yet… here he is before you!
