The links between forests and climate are the theme of the second edition of the Forêts Vivantes evening with Cerf Vert. Faced with climate change, what solutions are there for tomorrow?

The French forest continues to grow, but its condition is deteriorating just as much, with tree mortality on the rise. How can we strengthen the robustness and resilience of our forests? What choices should be made in forest management?

What are the impacts on living things and on our economy? To discuss these questions, we will be fortunate to have the participation of Maxime Blondeau, from WWF France, Canopée and Coeur de Forêt. Maxime Blondeau is an author, lecturer and speaker.

He teaches at Sciences Po and at Mines Paris – PSL, and explores how we perceive territories and the links between geography, living things and society.

Through a cross-disciplinary approach and visual representations of the world, he invites us to change our outlook on the major ecological challenges. Discover his universe. Programme: 7pm: Talk on Forest and Climate, with Maxime Blondeau.

45pm: Participatory workshops – What forest management in the face of climate change? Led by WWF France, Canopée and Cœur de Forêt. The evening is accompanied by a delicious cocktail!
