Overview
COUP DE COEUR PRIZE FROM THE CLUB DE LA PRESSE, FESTIVAL OFF D'AVIGNON. A show that questions the place of conscience in individual choices, and calls for revitalising civic engagement.
Chloé and Antoine love each other despite their disagreements. She, an environmental activist, calls for civil disobedience; he, now a prefect, is tasked with maintaining order.
Things grow complicated when Chloé plans an action on the very site Antoine is charged with defending. Neither will back down, each convinced that justice is on their side. But how can they stay together when the rules no longer command consensus? Public meetings, media studios and courtrooms become the arena for the struggle carried by this Antigone for today. Facing them are no longer spectators but citizens asking themselves questions.
