Louise and Julien invite you to witness their separation by retracing the rehearsals of a show that will never take place.

Louise was supposed to write a play inspired by their love story, but instead of the expected romantic heterosexual fable, we witness a joyful, irreverent chaos in which Jean-Luc Mélenchon, a Pyrenean bear, Pocahontas, Shakespeare, and a unicorn cross paths.

BÂTARDS IS A WHACKY AND POETIC COMEDY THAT NAVIGATES BETWEEN CONTEMPORARY FARCE AND FEMINIST DYSTOPIA.
