Overview
Psykup will celebrate its 30th anniversary in 2025. The band has now earned a legendary status on the alternative scene, with 5 albums, an acoustic EP and two live DVDs.
Unfashionable and beyond categorisation, the line-up has always been iconoclastic, smashing clichés with humour, composure and determination. It has marked several generations, bringing together at the same table Primus and Pantera, Strapping Young Lad and Alice In Chains.
A live war machine, Psykup has toured France, Belgium, Switzerland and Germany, and has stormed prestigious international festivals such as Les Eurockéennes de Belfort, Download Festival France, the legendary Boulevard in Morocco, Rockstadt in Transylvania, as well as a packed Hellfest won over by their contagious madness.
The band will release its 6th album, "The Joke of Tomorrow" (Verycords), on 11 April 2025, which already promises another aggressive and groovy musical journey, boosted by catchy harmonies, still wild and unapologetic.
