Récital de piano Nicolas Mazmanian

Pianimaginary is an invitation to an inner journey through the original works of pianist and composer Nicolas Mazmanian. Inspired by French music, cinema and his Armenian roots, this musical voyage blends emotion, poetry and imagination.

Each piece tells a story and opens up a unique soundscape. A moment outside time, where the piano becomes the guide to a sensitive and inspiring world.

Nicolas Mazmanian draws on an intimate knowledge of musical material to create writing that is both learned and immediately touching, where the melodies make their mark from the first listen, enhanced by rich, colourful harmony.

Faithful to the elegance of French music, from Fauré to Poulenc, he is also imbued with the narrative and lyrical sweep of the great film music composers, from Victor Young to John Williams.

Beyond journeying and dreaming, it is a true intimate geography that he explores, guided by his Armenian roots. By revisiting this traditional repertoire, one of profound nostalgia, he keeps alive the memory of a wounded people and turns it into a source of universal emotion.

On this occasion, the composer will sign copies of his CDs. "His music speaks for him: you can feel the classical training, the absolute mastery of technique, the absence of facility or showiness. " Nadia Khouri-Dagher
