Récital - Médecine Lyrique à Ste Anne
A lyric recital to (re)discover the Sainte Anne hospital site.
Overview
A lyric recital to (re)discover the Sainte Anne hospital site.
For Heritage Days, come and discover the gardens of Sainte Anne with a trio of excessive musicians!
A lively recital centred on patients and their doctors in opera (but not only), for a journey from the 19th to the 20th century full of emotions in the setting of the Sainte Anne gardens, a classified heritage site in the 14th arrondissement.
The great opera heroines (Violetta, Lucia di Lamermoor) and their often mystifying doctors (Dulcamara, Sganarelle) are echoed by the societal troubles of the 20th century, depicted with ardour and acidity by Bernstein, after an insolent interlude by Francis Poulenc.
Music by Verdi, Donizetti, Gounod, Poulenc, Bernstein with Eléonore Lemaire - soprano Marco Avallone - tenor Frédéric Lagarde - pianist Gabriela Galvao - mediator for the GHU
