Séminaire « Comprendre et agir dans la complexité » — Collectif Malgré Tout

A philosophy seminar open to all, to help make sense of our troubled times and rediscover ways of acting together. Free entry.

War, climate, algorithms: what can we rely on to think and act? A seminar open to everyone, to help us understand what is happening to us and rediscover ways of acting in a world that seems to escape us.

Description

War, climate, screens, artificial intelligence: many people today feel anxiety and powerlessness. The landmarks of the past, such as faith in progress, no longer hold. Collectif Malgré Tout invites us to reflect together on this situation. How do we think, feel and act when nothing seems stable any more? How can we remain free and creative without being dissolved into networks and algorithms, and without seeking at all costs a new rigid order?

This season, we will discuss in particular the place of the individual in the age of digital profiles, what distinguishes the living from a machine, and how to think about change without losing our footing.

The seminar is a lively discussion, with no prerequisites. Anyone may send their questions and proposals before or during the sessions.
