SKIP THE USE IS BACK! Three years after the emotional whirlwind of Human Disorder, the Lille-based quartet returns to make our eardrums tremble and stir consciences with "WE ARE GOOD" / "DISTORTER", the first double release from an upcoming sixth album. In the colourful wake of their fifth offspring, Mat Bastard (vocals), Yan Stefani (guitar), Enzo Gabert (drums) and Nelson Martins (bass) have shaped their new record like a puzzle, during a invigorating creative interlude. During this pause steeped in freedom, the four accomplices set themselves the challenge of composing individually in the service of the collective, until a borderless sonic patchwork emerged, sending labels flying while never forgetting to bring people together, fist raised.

The first warning shot of this sixth chapter, the double A-side single "WE ARE GOOD" / "DISTORTER", sees the band teaming up with the brilliant American sound engineer Adam Hawkins, a Grammy Award winner for his work on Switchfoot's album Hello Hurricane and a behind-the-scenes collaborator for some of the biggest names in pop (Britney Spears, L.P., Demi Lovato...), rap (50 Cent, Eminem, The Roots...) and alternative rock (Blink-182, Muse, Twenty One Pilots, Turnstile, Yungblud...). On the other side, "DISTORTER", a rebellious, libertarian outlet with the look of an electro-punk uppercut: "It's a violent, uncompromising observation: we are the authors of our own lives. The greatest con of our time has been persuading us that we are incapable of taking control of our own destiny", explain its creators. Behind its evocative name, suggesting an effects pedal that would distort not the guitars but our very lives, the track denounces the established order to better break its chains: "They sell us their lies, they poison our veins / Feed us their fear, but we're breaking the chains", snarls Mat Bastard, rarely sounding so defiant, just before the chorus emerges.
