To celebrate the 5th season of Smile, the first black-and-white show returns to where it all began, at La Nouvelle Ève!

In this theatre show where everything is in black and white, you will witness the encounter that changed Charlie Chaplin's life and, in doing so, changed the face of the world.

Some encounters can change a life, others can change History.

September 1910. In a bar in North London, the Mitz, a young man is about to declare his love to the woman of his heart. Hopelessly in love with this sweet, pretty young woman, he has never until now managed to express his feelings. Out of fear of rushing things, fear of not overcoming his shyness and, above all, because he is convinced that finding the words is not his strong point. But he had not reckoned with the presence of a whimsical, colourful barman.
