Overview
An invitation to travel and to love, a discreet invitation, running through the erotic flashes of Alessandro Barrico, the author of Noveccento. Around 1860, Hervé Joncour sets out on four journeys to Japan to buy silkworm eggs.
In that distant and dangerous land, he falls madly in love with a beautiful stranger, and this encounter turns his life upside down. Soie speaks of impossible loves, sensuality, obsession and “the happiness we flee for fear that it will escape us…”
