Overview
With a voice of crystalline softness, Solann fascinates, soothes and bewitches. Born to an actor father and an artistically versatile mother, Solann's distinctive identity first took shape on stage.
She then grew close to her maternal grandmother, her hero, her confidante, who led her to develop her musical practice. Of Armenian descent, she places Barbara and Aznavour on a pedestal, alongside the influence of Patrick Watson, Agnes Obel, Billie Eilish and Tamino.
Through her music, she reconnects, necessarily and urgently, with buried emotions, with aspects of her personality she long saw as belittled. Solann celebrates the marriage of capital-letter songwriting and ethereal neo-folk
