Nine years after Ouï, Camille releases a new album, The Sound of Milk (2026) – an original album in both its creative process and its triptych form, as it consists of Naissance (2015), a sound journal, Enfance (2020), a pocket musical comedy, and Adolescence (2025), a pop album. "Only joy consoles me, and it is my role as a woman, as a mother and as a human being to nourish it, to dream it, and to repair the world through song by making it vibrate once again!" she tells us through it. In a dark and turbulent era, marked by social, political and ecological upheaval, Camille chooses to speak of joy, both powerful and vulnerable, of the feminine, of motherhood, of childhood and of the family in the broadest sense, of the passing on of music and of unchanging values. She asks herself: how can we live day to day in the face of today's challenges? How can we take care of children and of each person's inner child, of the living and of the Living? What can we pass on to them in order to re-enchant the world? Tender, lucid and committed, this album confronts us with the problems and challenges facing humanity. It also cradles us so as to awaken us to love, and to relight the stars where they have gone out. More than a professional singer – which she has never felt herself to be – Camille is a woman who sings with the talent and generosity of great women creators touched by grace. She seeks the vibrant note, the sacred sound. She returns to the origin of song, to its fundamental function, that of prayer, to gently awaken us to that part of heaven that lies within us, to make us aware of our mother nature and of our human sisters and brothers. In this way, she invites us to connect with the great source of Love available to all.
