From spirituals to Christmas songs, by way of the irresistible energy of gospel, this programme celebrates Christmas through the great American and Anglo-Saxon musical traditions. The grand lyric and jazz voices of Émilie Hédou and Irina de Baghy meet the young voices of the Maîtrise du CRR de Paris, the vibrant alto of Arnaud Thorette and the inventive piano of Johan Farjot. Between fervour and swing, the timbres intertwine, the styles converse and the generations answer one another. A luminous and festive journey through the spirit of Christmas, in the unique atmosphere of the Bal Blomet.
