The first new release in seven years, Vertige du Seum marks the highly anticipated return of singer Tété. Through this track, the singer-songwriter recounts the transformation of a man who, after falling to his knees, picks himself up again for his children. It serves as a narrative prelude to a new concept album that is deeply human, where emotion takes centre stage. The song captures the emotional vertigo of a saturated era—the noise of a silence that screams—when the intimate becomes universal. This single inaugurates a new artistic cycle: a free, unformatted body of work that accompanies rather than comments. Because smiling means hoping, it serves as an introduction to his double album "Une Semaine Sur Deux" (ten songs presented in arranged versions on disc A, and in guitar-and-voice versions on disc B), scheduled for autumn 2026, which introduces new sonorities while keeping the signature of the poet intact.
