Thierry Lhermitte - Studio des Champs-Elysées

LA RENCONTRE From Tuesday 15 to Sunday 20 September at 7pm Then resumed from 5 November, Thursday to Sunday at 7pm With Thierry Lhermitte By Charles Pépin Directed by Steve Suissa There are those we pass by, and there are those we truly meet. We cross paths with so many people, but do we ever really meet them? What is a true encounter? Where does its power to change our lives, to reveal us to ourselves, come from? How can we make ourselves available to this adventure in a world of algorithms and echo chambers? In a one-man show written by Charles Pépin and adapted from his bestseller La rencontre, une philosophie, Thierry Lhermitte looks back on the encounters that have marked his life, from his mates from the Splendid to that of... his horse! He poses a dizzying question: by not taking the risk of encounter, could we be missing out on ourselves? Access for wheelchair users, phone: 01 53 23 99 19
