Overview
Koala is a funny, musical, and intimate one-man show where Thomas dismantles everything that was put into his head to make him a "real man, damn it!
" From birth to adulthood, he humorously deconstructs the injunctions to virility: suppressing emotions, hating one's body, performing sex, and keeping quiet.
Between bursts of laughter and moving moments, Koala talks about masculinity, consent, vulnerability, and self-reconciliation. A generous and liberating show, where laughing and crying become a way to learn how to be alive.
