Ailleurs

After their wonderful cine-concert around the film Crin Blanc, we're delighted to be reunited with the musicians of the Compagnie Anaya for a new creation.

And what a joy to imagine their musical compositions accompanying Ailleurs [Away], a wordless animated film made in 2018 by Latvian director Gints Zilbalodis, now a César and Oscar winner for his latest film, Flow!

Structured as a coming-of-age journey, Ailleurs follows a young man who, after a plane crash, lands on an unknown island and tries to reach the village of men.

Through this quest, the film takes us through breathtakingly beautiful dreamlike landscapes, a world both wondrous and fearsome, filled with a wide range of animals and lush nature.

On stage, the music of Camille Saglio and Matthieu Dufrêne sweeps us up and delivers a genuine concert, at times rock, spellbinding, airy, and always deeply felt… A film by Gints ZilbalodisVocals, guitar, sampler Camille SaglioAccordion, drums Matthieu Dufrêne MartinSet design Suzanne BarbaudVideo creation Clément DebailleulSound design Xavier GentyLighting design Mathieu Esposito WilscakProduction Caroline de Saint PastouProduction: Cie AnayaCo-productions: Théâtre et cinéma Georges Simenon, Rosny-sous-Bois – Théâtre Boris Vian, Couëron – Villages en scène, Bellevigne-en-Layon – Communauté de communes du Pays de Craon – Espace Paul Jargot Scène Ressource en Isère, Crolles.
