Overview
AS PART OF THE 30TH EDITION OF THE VILLES DES MUSIQUES DU MONDE FESTIVAL Aïta Mon Amour Aïta Mon Amour reinvents the aïta, a Moroccan musical and poetic tradition, through a contemporary creation carried by the pioneer of female rap in Morocco and the unmissable musician-producer Khalil Epi.
Blending oral heritage, contemporary arrangements and electronic textures, the duo brings memory and the present into dialogue. With more than 150 concerts, the project has established itself as one of the most distinctive offerings on the current Mediterranean scene.
On stage, Aïta Mon Amour delivers an intense, immersive experience in which the power of popular narratives meets a resolutely contemporary aesthetic.
