Alex Cameron + Josh Da Costa

Alex Cameron and Josh Da Costa come together on stage for an evening dedicated to soul, funk, and gospel influences.

This line-up brings together two artistic sensibilities with aesthetics deeply influenced by African-American music. Alex Cameron develops a unique approach to composition, touched by rhythm and blues nuances and razor-sharp songwriting. Josh Da Costa completes this bill with a repertoire rooted in the grand soul tradition, driven by organic arrangements and a demanding performance.

On stage, the ensemble delivers a set designed for live performance, alternating between introspective moments and more rhythmic sequences inherited from funk and gospel. The venue's layout allows for direct proximity between the musicians and the audience, encouraging attentive listening to the vocal and instrumental arrangements.

This date is aimed at live music lovers looking for authentic artistic propositions, far from standardized radio formats. Spectators will discover a musical dialogue where each contributor brings their stylistic mastery to the service of a sophisticated repertoire.
