Overview
Doors open: 7:30 PM With Curtain Pleater, Jessie Marino, composer, performer and media artist, presents a solo for violin and electronics.
In it, she builds "sound tapestries" from specific tunings, weaving-inspired patterns and everyday objects, such as curtain clips or quilt fasteners.
Balancing composition and improvisation, violin and electronics, Jessie Marino develops experimental music where sound, objects and gesture become the material for creation. Antoine Alcaraz handles the projection on the Motus acousmonium.
