From Finland, ATLAS is a distinctly Nordic modern metal phenomenon. Since 2015 formation, both the band's sound and striking visual universe have evolved toward a fusion between crushing heaviness and haunting vulnerability.
After years of relentless work, the band found its definitive lineup, composed of members dedicating their lives and energy to music. Over a decade, ATLAS's sound developed and refined to reach what it is today: a unique genre and sonic influence blend.
The band has toured across Europe alongside acts like Orbit Culture, Caligula's Horse, Monuments, VOLA, Adept, Electric Callboy, Kadinja, and We Butter The Bread With Butter. ATLAS also shared festival bills with dozens of bands at numerous European festivals.
With their new album Sunder (February 2026, Odyssey Music Network), ATLAS signs a powerful return: a carefully crafted successor to their Primitive album (ranked top 10 in 2018) and acclaimed Ukko (2021), both released via SPV Records.
Backed by London/Helsinki management Backbone Management, ATLAS continues pushing extreme music's boundaries.
