Prodigiously gifted on the accordion, Roland Romanelli won the instrument's world cup in 1961. His career is marked by a remarkable diversity, ranging from French chanson to electronic music, as well as film and television composition.
His name remains inextricably linked to a deep artistic and human collaboration with the singer Barbara.
This partnership rapidly evolved from simple accompaniment to the role of artistic director, principal arranger, and even co-composer on songs such as "À peine", "Vienne" or "Cet enfant-là".
Both witness and actor to one of the finest chapters in French chanson, Roland Romanelli brings Barbara back to life more vividly than ever.
