Overview
Bastien Devilles, aka Sébastien Souchois, returns to the Café de la Danse with his new album Cavale. Carried by the sensitive writing of novelist and lyricist Brigitte Giraud (Prix Goncourt 2022), this concert promises a refined journey between shadow and light.
Electric guitars with a pop and rhythmic energy, combined with skilfully arranged strings, create a sometimes sophisticated, cinematic world.
Sébastien Souchois has had several lives: film composer, arranger and multi-instrumentalist (saxophone, guitar, keyboards), and he has contributed to many French pop productions. With Cavale, his first album, he gives his songs a new scale.
Come and discover Bastien Devilles live on stage: elegant pop, a voice and string arrangements exquisitely orchestrated. With Boris Boublil: guitars; Lucas Valéro: bass; Jérémie Piazza: drums; Anael Rousseau: cello; Reine Collet: violin. Support act: POPINCOURT.
One of our proudest representatives of Made in France pop, with a capital P, Popincourt has held a place of honour since listeners discovered A New Dimension To Modern Love, its first album, released in 2016.
) From the Beatles to Burt Bacharach, via Elvis Costello or even Stereolab, Popincourt keeps alive a certain idea of romantic and suave pop, the kind that runs from the 1960s to today. Benzine
