Conceived from testimonies gathered in France and abroad – Austria, Italy, Spain, the United States, India and Cameroon – the show intersects seven destinies and seven languages.

All these stories have one thing in common: they recount a wrenching away from a daily routine believed to be immutable. Today, thinking about our world is often accompanied by a feeling of paralysis.

It is undoubtedly possible to extract ourselves from this state of torpor that binds us by envisaging a future that is not already determined, by imagining escapes toward an unknown horizon.

The performers thus carry the narrative of everyday utopias that came to life in a dining room in Vienna or an airport in Mumbai, in a forest in Bamanga or a bedroom in Los Angeles. But then, what are the forces that suddenly led these seven individuals to rise up?

And what remains of this upheaval? Between narration and performance, the scenes are nourished by choreographic moments that weave sensitive links between all these fragments of life.

This decisive instant when an individual's existence tips over, when a wavering body stands tall, is the beating heart of a show that seeks to discover where our capacity to transform our world is lodged.
