For Bury Tomorrow, these past two years have consisted of attempting to fill the void where the band knew something was missing.

Between the depths of uncertainty, line-up changes and obstacles linked to COVID, the arrival of guitarist Ed Hartwell and keyboardist/vocalist Tom Prendergast, as well as the creation of The Seventh Sun in 2023, allowed them to open an entirely new avenue of possibilities that previously seemed inaccessible.

Today, driven by renewed conviction and a fresher vision of what the band can embody, they present Will You Haunt Me With That Same Patience, their most intensely visceral work to date.

Conceived more intimately and carefully, internalizing every aspect of the writing process, with Carl Bown [Sleep Token, Bullet For My Valentine, While She Sleeps] on production for the first time, the result is a deeply personal demonstration, extraordinarily expansive and of crushing intensity of cathartic craftsmanship.

Born from a shared sense of frustration at an ever-shifting disconnection with the state of modern society, the band has created a sincere, devastating and definitive work on the intertwined effects of brutal self-sabotage, paralyzing anxiety, profound discouragement and the endless quest for peace and clarity in a world saturated with noise.

It is a record that speaks as much of division as of connection, a pouring out of personal devastation, but also a hopeful reminder that we all go through this together.

At the heart of such a deep sonic exploration and shared emotional understanding, and despite its dark view of things, Will You Haunt Me With That Same Patience still seeks to represent that persistent presence, that hope, that reminds us this existence is not a foregone conclusion.
