Cabaret L'Arnaque

L'Arnaque, the cabaret that brings together the unexpected

For its second edition, Charly Broutille returns with L’Arnaque, a cabaret that seeks to break free from tradition and embraces surprising and unexpected encounters.

On stage, disciplines cross and echo one another, artistic worlds answer each other, and the differences ultimately reveal what brings them together. For behind the characters, the appearances and the masks, whether we are artists or audience members, our vulnerabilities, our struggles and our drive remain the same.

A stage becomes a bastion.

A costume, a suit of armour. Humour becomes our sword, and love our shield.

In this burlesque, musical and resolutely queer cabaret, Charly and fellow performers juggle between pretence and truth.

It touches on inclusivity, mental health, the condition of artists and how to find one's way through troubled waters, without ever giving up tenderness... nor even beauty.
