Charles Pasi

in agreement with W LIVE Charles Pasi returns with ADAMAS, his sixth album and third on the legendary Blue Note label. A deeply human record, written as an inner journey, in which music becomes an act of memory, resilience and creative freedom.

In Greek, Adamas means 'indestructible', and the diamond it refers to is not an aesthetic symbol: it is a tribute to two essential figures in the artist's life, his father and his manager, both recently deceased. Two free souls to whom this record is dedicated.

Composed at the height of the pandemic, Adamas is the result of isolation reimagined as an artistic laboratory.

On it, Pasi sings in English, French and, for the first time, Italian, exploring blues, pop, folk and soul, while opening his musical world to new collaborations, notably with singer Queen Omega.

Despite its theme of loss, the album never sinks into dark nostalgia; it celebrates continuity, light, the bond between the living and those who accompany us in other ways. Pasi reaches a rare maturity here: more direct, more bare, more sincere.

His intimate voice, his sense of phrasing and his unmistakable harmonica playing bring to life music that is calm, poetic, vibrant, luminous — music that is truly lived in. And then there is the stage!

Charles Pasi is one of those artists who sweeps everything along in his path: he sets things alight without ever forcing it, creates an instant communion with the audience, and alternates between emotional intensity and burning energy.

Every concert becomes an experience in its own right, generous and deeply alive.
