This quartet composed of Mario Canonge on piano, Serge Merlaud on guitar, Faniry Andrianarisoa on drums and Marc Bollengier on double bass offers us a repertoire around the music of Ultramarine Guitarist André Condouant who passed away about ten years ago and the composers he particularly appreciated… Karl Ratzer, Jobim, Clare fisher, Chick Corea, Kenny Barron… but also some compositions by band members.
André Condouant is an Caribbean jazzman who contributed to the great era of bebop, and participated fully in its history. Lots of energy and interactions for this jazz quartet, a very nice evening in prospect.
