Overview
It's Christmas, an ordinary family celebration, yet a slight dissonance strikes us.
It's Christmas: Grandad is losing his marbles, the daughter is pregnant by a stranger, the mother burns the turkey and the father gets an upset stomach. An ordinary family celebration, yet something is off: the bulbs have been removed to save electricity, and the world seems to be turning differently. In Chroniques d'une famille ordinaire, adapted from Martin Crimp's Dans la République du bonheur, the company Sur un air de explores a society undermined by capitalism and individualism.
