Ciné-concert MÉLI-MÉLIÈS

Children's cinema-concert: step into the magical world of Georges Méliès with a captivating cinema-concert that blends music and images for unforgettable fantastical adventures.

A family cinema-concert following in the footsteps of Georges Méliès, the cinema magician!

A former illusionist who became a pioneer of the seventh art, Méliès turned the screen into a playground where everything becomes possible: fantastical journeys, fairy-tale creatures and extraordinary machines.

Through the images of Voyage à travers l'impossible and Le Royaume des fées, audiences set off on adventures that are as spectacular as they are dreamlike.

In one, a troupe of daring explorers crosses incredible landscapes (fantastical mountains, raging oceans or starry skies) on an extravagant expedition worthy of a child's dream.

In the other, the audience plunges into an enchanted world peopled with princesses, fairies and transformations, where the heroes face a thousand twists and turns before finding the light again.

To accompany these imaginary worlds, piano, cello and electric guitar weave a surprising and poetic soundscape live. Somewhere between jazz and contemporary textures, the music brings to life the wild adventures of the characters invented by Méliès.

A visual and musical show full of surprises, like a door opening onto imagination and adventure, to discover as a family from age 4! Duration: 50 minutes. All audiences from age 4. Each seat costs €13 online (a single rate, valid for 1 person, child or adult).

Doors open 30 minutes before the start. Booking is strongly recommended. Alongside the concert: a workshop on improvisation and composing music for images. In co-production with Pégazz & l'Hélicon. As part of the Graines de jazz festival.
