Jam Session Jazz au 38Riv, animée par Solène Cairoli

A first set to set the mood, then the stage opens: musicians of all backgrounds, established and emerging, come together for a free and vibrant jam. Here, listening comes first, styles blend, and energies flow. Upright piano, keyboard, double bass and drums are available — the rest is up to you to invent.

Solène Cairoli

It was after just five years of double bass playing and learning jazz that Solène flew to New York to pursue a Master's in Jazz at the Manhattan School of Music. There she had the opportunity to study with musicians of renown such as Buster Williams, Ingrid Jensen and Phil Markowitz. After three years rich in discoveries and musical encounters, she returned to France. Since her return, she has been performing regularly in concert and has had the opportunity to play alongside leading figures of French jazz such as Giovanni Mirabassi, Sylvain Beuf and Hugo Lippi.
