Cinq de Coeur

CALY PRODUCTIONS & VIRAGE PRODUCTICALY PRODUCTIONS & VIRAGE PRODUCTIONS (2-107 CALY PRODUCTIONS & VIRAGE PRODUCTIONS. A musical frenzy directed by Virginie Lemoine. With Rachel Pignot, Karine Serafin, Sandrine Mont-Coudiol, Fabian Ballarin and Vincent Gillieron.

This birthday celebration promises to be unforgettable! Les Cinq de Cœur have vied with one another in ideas and audacity to offer their eager audience a show that is explosive in its musical performance and in the madness that defines them.

Verdi, Barbara, Beyoncé, Beethoven, Brel, Radiohead, Eddy Mitchell and so many others will be part of the celebration, and what a celebration!

On the programme: new choreography, grandiose sets (at times evoking the palaces of Las Vegas), new costumes (including a breathtaking gown worthy of an Austrian empress), scenes poetically lit by candlelight, or songs performed high above the stage on a burning trapeze...

Tomorrow everything will be ready! Tomorrow? What do you mean, tomorrow? Five accomplished singers, three women and two men from different musical worlds, decide to use their voices in the most outrageous way possible.

They write and perform shows that combine devilish virtuosity with irresistible comedy. These singer-actors invent a genre all their own, blending humour and emotion and adding the distinctive quality of a cappella singing.

Many directors, including Anne Roumanoff, Marc Locci, Pascal Légitimus, Meriem Menant (Emma la clown), Philippe Lelièvre and, today, Virginie Lemoine, have accompanied them through their creations.

Their repertoire has only one limit, that of their desires: French song of every stripe, international variety, famous classical works, sound effects, beatbox... They reinvent every genre with the talent that characterises them.

Their aim: to surprise you, move you and dazzle you, as much through the comical situations they invent as through the beauty of their combined voices
