Classique Impro

Classique Impro is an improv comedy show staged at the Café Théâtre Le Citron Bleu in Toulouse. The performance is built from scenes created live from suggestions from the audience.

This show is a comedy and theatrical improvisation piece: scenes are created on stage without any written text in advance, drawn from suggestions and ideas called out during the performance. The title points to a reference to the classic improv format, which draws on games and structures familiar to fans of the genre.

In the auditorium, audiences watch a live performance in which the pace depends on the reactions of the moment, and each evening takes a different shape. The register is humour, with situations that build up through the exchange between the performers and the audience.

The show is aimed at audiences curious about funny, spontaneous theatre. It is staged at the Café Théâtre Le Citron Bleu, a small Toulouse theatre whose programme is devoted to café-théâtre shows.
