CONCERT: Arkuri Arkestra + Reine & Cleseph [prog rock] ARKURI Arkuri, or total freedom. Total freedom to open the doors of perception through the incantatory sound of surrealist guitars and siren song.

Music for free spirits, for clinical cases, an oppositional sound born from the cry of the shackled. A solo project by Carmela Arcuri, a chosen name, Arkuri was born as voice and guitar.

When you lend an ear, you can hear in her music the echoes of a washed-out Josephine Foster, of a hoarse Jeff Buckley.

Sometimes noise-oriented and repetitive, inspired by Fred Frith or Steve Reich, often lyrical and sensitive, it offers a liquid and hallucinogenic progressive rock. Carmela has been working on an EP and performing with this lineup on the stages of her city.

Soon joined by Théo Boero on bass and Malo Thierry on drums, they created the Arkuri Arkestra. As a power trio as powerful as it is subtle, they shatter unclassifiable progressive rock.

Drawing inspiration from the Jimi Hendrix Experience, with a straightforward sound and syncopated rhythm section, or more modern outsiders like Angine de Poitrine or Pneu, they experiment with space and time.

music REINE & CLESEPH Some time ago, the two female musicians Reine and Cleseph recorded an album together full of sweet songs, which they will play for you with guitar, bass, and their two voices.

Intimate pop and folk ballads, inspired by Sparklehorse, Tia Blake and Florist, filled with shimmering arpeggios and lovely harmonies.
