Converge

Presented by Live Nation. For more than three decades, CONVERGE has embodied the avant-garde of chaotic hardcore and extreme metal.

A genuine cult band from the United States, it has redefined the codes of heavy music through uncompromising intensity, ferocious virtuosity and a creativity that has shaped several generations of musicians.

Few bands can claim such a profound influence on the evolution of extreme metal over the past twenty years. From metalcore to mathcore, via modern hardcore, sludge or blackened hardcore, CONVERGE's imprint is everywhere.

Its radical approach, blending violence, emotion and sophistication, paved the way for a multitude of bands that have become essential listening. At the heart of this explosion is Jacob Bannon, an emblematic figure of the underground scene.

A possessed vocalist, incandescent performer and acclaimed visual artist, he turns every concert into a visceral experience. His extraordinary stage presence and lyrics of rare intensity make each performance a unique moment, where rage, fragility and catharsis meet.

Alongside him, guitarist Kurt Ballou, a renowned producer whose work has shaped the sound of modern metal, forms with bassist Nate Newton and drummer Ben Koller an instrumental section of exceptional precision and intensity, considered one of the most formidable in the extreme scene.

Seeing CONVERGE live means watching on stage one of the most influential and respected bands in the history of extreme music. A celebration of power, innovation and authenticity that continues to inspire an entire scene. A living legend. A total experience.
