Couscous Party, with tastings, food and wine pairings, and music!

Under the guidance of nomadic chef Emmanuel Perrodin, artist-cook Marie-Josée Ordener, and the chefs from the solidarity association Marie Curry, Les Grandes Tables are bringing out a battery of couscous pots and preparing semolina in Bordeaux style, Senegalese style, and many other inspirations… During this festive evening, you will taste four couscous dishes with multiple influences, each accompanied by a wine selected by the sommeliers of the Cité du Vin to reveal its full aromatic richness.

Between tastings, food and wine pairings, and musical performances, this Couscous Party invites you on a gourmet journey from the Mediterranean to our local terroirs.

Inscribed in 2020 on UNESCO's Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity, the knowledge, know-how, and practices related to couscous bear witness to an ancestral culinary heritage, but also to the vitality of contemporary cultural exchanges.

A dish for everyday and for special occasions, couscous crosses borders, generations, and histories. This evening pays tribute to its thousand flavours, its generosity, and the art of sharing it embodies.
