Crash Test

Crash Test is a one-man comedy show staged at La Grange, a theatre in Marseille. An evening of stand-up carried by a single performer on stage.

This show is a one-man show and comedy performance: the performer Crash Test takes the stage alone and speaks directly to the audience. The title points to a form of comedy that plays on the idea of accident and ordeal, in a resolutely funny register.

Unlike a play with several characters, the performance rests entirely on the presence of a single performer, who moves from storytelling and observation to direct address of the audience. It is a flexible form, close to stand-up, in which the humour comes from the spoken word and its rhythm rather than from staging a set.

The performance takes place at La Grange, a theatre in Marseille (13006), which hosts this comedy show. The audience it is aimed at is made up of fans of one-man shows and contemporary comedy, who enjoy evenings where a single artist holds the stage from start to finish.
