Currents never compromise their artistic or philosophical integrity. This Connecticut band, made up of Brian Wille (vocals), Chris Wiseman (guitar), Ryan Castaldi (guitar), Matt Young (drums) and Christian Pulgarin (bass), masters chaos by combining innovation and intensity, pushing the boundaries of modern metal. Their 2025 EP, All That Follows, illustrates this evolution. By breaking expectations, they explore new territory while staying true to their identity.

Since 2011, Currents have released several critically acclaimed albums, including The Place I Feel Safest (2017), I Let The Devil In (2018), The Way It Ends (2020) and The Death We Seek (2023). Their music is recognised for its intensity and modernity, and they have shared the stage with major bands.

During their tours, All That Follows came to life, produced with Ryan Leitru and co-produced by Brian and Chris. « We gathered our strongest tracks for this EP  », adds Brian.

Currents unveiled this new era with « It Only Gets Darker  » (1.9 million streams on Spotify). Among the standout tracks, « My Severance  » and « Making Circles  » illustrate their sense of contrast and strong emotions. Brian addresses the theme of exploitation and the rejection of institutions, calling for collective resistance. « Making Circles  » explores loss and the search for direction, while « Can't Turn Back  » expresses betrayal and rage. « It's a song about betrayal  », sighs Brian, aimed at those who believe they are invincible. The closing track, « Rise & Fall  », concludes with existential questions and intense energy. Brian wonders about the future: « How is it all going to end? There is only the rise and the fall.  » Currents continue their progress, without slowing down.
