Stéphane Resche is Franco-Italian. He has three children. He trained in various disciplines: languages and literature (universities in France, Italy, and Germany, ENS Lyon and Pisa), music (notably piano at the conservatories of Clermont-Ferrand, Bologna, Rueil-Malmaison, and acoustics at the Cnsmdp), theatre (history of arts, acting, directing, writing, with a doctorate dedicated to B. Joppolo) and humour (at the École du One Man Show de Paris and the Scala-ESAR, the École Supérieure des Arts du Rire). In the past, he has been a dramaturg, assistant director in opera, director, author or editor, translator, researcher, teacher, columnist, artistic advisor, radio producer, pianist, and actor... and he still is sometimes, when he's not tidying up his children's toys.
