Overview
Singer-songwriter Eli draws her inspiration directly from early 2000s radio pop hits and the culture of that era to create bright and catchy pop songs.
After exploring different ways of using her voice on her first singles, the viral success of nostalgic tracks like “Marianne” and “Girl of Your Dreams” encouraged her to fully embrace the influence of early 2000s artists at the crossroads of R&B and commercial pop, such as Mariah Carey.
For her album Stage Girl, released in 2025, she notably drew inspiration from her childhood memories of watching Hannah Montana and American Idol.
Eli's fantasies about the “stage girl” life became a reality in 2026 with Ell: The One Woman Show, a three-night residency in Los Angeles, which notably welcomed Demi Lovato and ADÉLA.
Shortly after, she joined award-winning British superstar Sam Smith as the opening act for two dates of their To Be Free residency in San Francisco.
An enriched version of the album, titled Stage Girl (Not A Dream Anymore), was released in 2026 and includes the track “Crush,” recorded in collaboration with Zara Larsson.
