Emmanuel Rossfelder

Classical guitarist Emmanuel Rossfelder performs on the stage of the Théâtre de Passy in a concert showcasing his instrument of choice.

Emmanuel Rossfelder is a French classical guitarist active since the late 1980s. Trained under great masters of the discipline, he released his first album, entitled Danses latines, at the turn of the 2000s. His repertoire showcases the technical and expressive richness of the guitar, exploring works from different periods and musical traditions, with a predilection for Hispanic and South American pieces that demand great rhythmic and harmonic agility.

On stage, the artist offers a stripped-back set in which technical virtuosity is placed at the service of nuance and phrasing. Accustomed to concert halls and specialist festivals, he deploys a precise and nuanced playing style that adapts to the acoustic dimensions of medium-sized concert halls. This concert is aimed at lovers of instrumental classical music, guitar enthusiasts, and audiences curious to discover an intimate repertoire.

The Théâtre de Passy, located in the 16th arrondissement of Paris, offers a setting conducive to attentive listening to solo guitar, allowing the audience to perceive the subtlety of timbres and sonic dynamics. The layout of the hall encourages closeness between the stage and listeners for this performance.
